Keystone Initiative for Network Based Education and Research (KINBER)

KINBER (the Keystone Initiative for Network Based Education and Research) serves as coordinator for the construction and management of a state-wide fiber optic network accessible to a host of educational, research, health care and economic development partners seeking to aggregate services for their members and subscribers at affordable cost.

European University Information Systems (EUNIS)

EUNIS was founded in 1993 with the following objectives: To encourage communication, collaboration and co-operation between those responsible for information systems in higher education and research institutions and organizations in Europe; To liaise with the major suppliers in this field and represent the interests of higher education; To liaise with organizations setting the strategic agenda for information systems in higher education and research at national and European level.

Penn Video Productions

Penn Video Productions offers a full set of video-related services such as video production, distribution, encoding/streaming, and conferencing to University of Pennsylvania and non-university content providers.

MAGPI partners with Penn Video Productions on many exciting collaborations.

The Gerda and Kurt Klein Foundation

The Gerda and Kurt Klein Foundation, which became operational in 1998, promotes tolerance for differences, respect for others and the empowerment of students through education and community service. Kurt’s unexpected death on April 19, 2002 was a shock to all; but Gerda is committed to carrying on and so are all of us who believe in their dream.

MAGPI is a technology partner with the Gerda and Kurt Klein Foundation creating several exciting programs that help bring Gerda Klein’s message to students and communities around the world.

The Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC)

The Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) is an organization of science centers and museums dedicated to furthering the public understanding of science among increasingly diverse audiences. ASTC encourages excellence and innovation in informal science learning by serving and linking its members worldwide and advancing their common goals. ASTC provides professional development for the science center field, promotes best practices, supports effective communication, strengthens the position of science centers within the community at large, and fosters the creation of successful partnerships and collaborations.

MAGPI is a technology partner with ASTC helping to bring innovative interactive programs to students and the community via science centers and universities.

CLEO

Cumbria and Lancashire Education Online (CLEO) is one of 10 English Regional Broadband Consortia (RBCs) and is made up of Cumbria County Council and Lancashire County Council. Originally formed in 1998 the CLEO broadband network provides high quality private broadband network for all schools across Cumbria & Lancashire. CLEO also provides a range of additional services supporting the use of broadband technology in the classroom and to support pupils learning at home and for teachers in their work.

MAGPI is partnering with CLEO to parnter US and UK teachers for class-to-class collaborations through videoconferencing.
