The MAGPI K20 User Group

This multistate group meets every other month virtually by videoconferencing through the Internet2 Commons. The purpose of the MAGPI K20 User Group is to bring together connected organizations across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Kentucky to encourage cross-fertilization of ideas, collaboration opportunities, and resources on the use of MAGPI and Internet2. These meetings are open to any MAGPI member institution and feature guest speakers and resources that we hope will be of interest to you.

The Open Student Television Network (OSTN)

OSTN is the first and only 24/7 global television network devoted to student-produced programming. OSTN's mission is to provide opportunities for students through resources, community, exposure, and experience. It houses OSTN News, the first collegiate news show where students report the hottest stories from around the US, UK and Canada. The stories are based on news events that are of interest to college-age students.

The Research Channel

ResearchChannel was founded by a consortium of leading research and academic institutions to share the valuable work of their researchers with the public. ResearchChannel is now available to nearly 38 million satellite and cable television subscribers and our Web site is visited by 2 million visitors each year. The channel is also available on more than 80 university-and school-based cable systems in the United States and in other countries.

University Channel

The University Channel  makes videos of academic lectures and events from all over the world available to the public.  It is a place where academics can air their ideas and present research in a full-length, uncut format.  Contributors with greater video production capabilities can submit original productions. The UChannel presents ideas in a way commercial news or public affairs programming cannot. Because it is neither constrained by time nor dependent upon commercial feedback, the UChannel's video content can be broad and flexible enough to cover the full gamut of academic investigation.
