This training session is open to MAGPI Members with H.323 videoconference capabilities. The training is conducted via videoconference and is limited to 20 sites.
Join members of MAGPI's staff for a series of presentations directly related to technology infrastructure and supporting interactive videoconferencing in the classroom. This training will familiarize participants with IP-based
videoconferencing (software and hardware based), common NAT and firewall issues, designing the videoconference space, using peripherals (like document cameras, secondary cameras and computers), and basic etiquette.
Please note that this training is technical in nature. We will be offering other training sessions via videoconference in 2011 that examine best videoconference practices for classroom teachers and instructors that focus on application of the technology. This particular training session is for those that support instructors and are tasked with making the technology work seamlessly.
