New Coalition Will Work to Bring Broadband Internet Access to the Public

A new Schools, Health and Libraries Broadband Coalition has formed to expand access to broadband Internet. The new coalition is made up ofr 28 commercial and non-for-profit groups including the American Library Associaion, Educause and Internet2. The goal of the coalion is to seek federal funds to provide broadband access for key organizations such as colleges, schools, libraries and hospitals since these organizations are heavily relied upon in communities across the country already.
